During the fourth quarter of 2024, carpooling and ridesharing apps in Denmark showed varied trends in downloads and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Uber - Request a ride saw fluctuating weekly downloads, starting at around 2.6K at the beginning of October and peaking at 3.3K mid-month. By the end of December, downloads rose again to approximately 2.1K. Weekly active users consistently increased, beginning at 4.7K and closing the quarter at around 5.8K.

Bolt: Request a Ride experienced a similar pattern, with downloads reaching a high of 3K mid-October before dipping to 993 by mid-December. However, downloads rebounded to 1.7K by the end of the quarter. Active users showcased a stable trend, averaging around 18K to 19K throughout the period.

Grab: Taxi Ride, Food Delivery maintained a steady increase in downloads, starting at 834 and climbing to 1.9K by the end of December. Active users also rose from 52K to nearly 60K, indicating a growing user base.

Viggo - book a ride displayed a significant spike in downloads, particularly in the last week of December, jumping to over 3.6K. This surge marked the highest increase among the apps reviewed.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver showed a moderate download trend, with numbers peaking at 492 in mid-October and stabilizing around 200 towards the end of the quarter. Active users remained relatively stable, hovering between 4.7K and 5.3K.
